These marbles were mixed into some other newer marbles that I found in various placed. I took what may be the best marbles and placed them together as seen in the images. Marble Identification. Peltier or foreign? Need help identifying a marble? As for the name, I believe Chuck Garrett may have named this marble, but I am not certain. I believe there are variations to this marble. That some are translucent and possibly some that are opaque that exist.I got this one here I believe to be a Peltier but not sure it's. 606. Thanks. This is a crazy busy marble. It has a single seam and measures 3/4.iI'm thinkingit is potentially an old Peltier red/orange Miller swirl Zebra."Peltier made double or two seams or cut lines and no seams or cuts. Peltier also did make a single one seam or cut line. It is one of the earliest type of Peltier marbles. The early slags like the Cerise Agate. Both sizes have the same structure but the larger ones like these do seem to be a bit more ...IDENTIFICATION TIPS Like Akro Agate and Christensen, early Peltier marbles are often composed of brilliant combinations of color. The first marbles by Peltier were produced by Miller machinery, and were single-stream slags and swirls. many Peltier marbles, especially early examples, have as-made blow-out holes that appear on the surface of the marble as tiny pits. Here is my thoughts to this and use it as you may. The Pelt "Cross Thru" examples i feel are early in production. (Guessing) they were before the "Sunsets". After all cheaper marbles need to be made for company higher profits. "Cross Thru"---a clear transparent base (some could be colored) with a cross thru internal + look with all colors …Yep - that's an earlier Peltier NLR with the added bonus of the transparent blue. Very desirable marble. Give it a soap & water cleaning with a paper towel and see if some crud comes off the surfaces; it looks slightly dirty.

I thought Peltier was like most all other companies. As time progressed they had to cut cost and the glass, colors and quality got less due to cost cutting because of competition. The NLR were the older and better quality and the Rainbo's are later lesser quality Peltier marbles.Here is a pic on the 3/4" type that came in a National Line box (linked to Steph's Study Hall thread on marble connection): In either case, Peltier Bloodies are neither rare nor expensive.
